Opening Ceremony of One-Stop Shop Center

Works towards opening a Service Center on One-Stop Shop basis in the RA MoA State Service for Food Safety (SSFS) have been carried out within Strengthening Public Sector Institutions component of the Second Community Agricultural Resource Management and Competitiveness (CARMAC) project implemented by the Agriculture PIU and financed by the World Bank. The Center is aimed at improving and increasing the service quality provided to economic entities and citizens.

Today the opening ceremony of the Service Center took place with the participation of the RA Minister of Agriculture Ignati Arakelyan, Agriculture PIU Acting Director Gegham Gevorgyan, WB Consultant Ara Karapetyan and other guests. In his opening speech the head of SSFS Ishkhan Karapetyan mentioned that the SSFS has significantly simplified the administrative procedures and introduced electronic management tools thus ensuring transparency of all the activities. The services provided in the Service Center will save time and be helpful for both the economic entities and the consumers.  

Gegham Gevorgyan mentioned that apart from the contribution in the Service Center within the CARMAC 2 project the SSFS is provided other kind of support as well – trainings and equipment provision. Congratulating his colleagues Mr Gevorgyan wished for productive work for everyone.
